PMA Profile: Rasheedah Ahmed

InterSolution’s Manager of the Office and Leasing Staff Rasheedah Ahmed has been with this longstanding PMA Associate member firm for eight years. Most of this time Rasheedah has been actively involved with PMA, especially with the Community Service Committee that she chaired for several years and the Associated Membership Council. Rasheedah helped to spearhead PMA’s relationship with So Others Might Eat and PMA’s Career Day at SOME that features PMA members offering career guidance and job interview training to SOME patrons to help them obtain positions with property management firms. She also worked tirelessly to make PMEXPO’s Toy Drive a success while generously contributing her time and talents to landscaping improvement projects and activities at the Second Genesis-Melwood House for Women and Children that continue PMA’s tradition of giving back to the community. For her community service efforts, PMA named Rasheedah the 2009 recipient of the Stanley F. Reid Humanitarian of the Year Award. In 2011, Rasheedah served as vice chair of the Associate Membership Council and was elected to serve as the Council’s chair-elect in 2012.
