PMA Profile: Geoff Ogden

Geoff Ogden

 

Geoff Ogden wears the hats of vice president at Janitorial Partners, Inc./Park Construction, Inc., PMA past president and current vice-chair of PMA’s Associate Membership Council. He got involved in property management with Charles E. Smith Companies in 1986 and four years later joined Southern Management Corporation as director of residential financial services. For 18 years, he managed application screening and credit criteria for Southern's residential portfolio. Geoff led many rent collection seminars at PMA, sharing his insights and experience with other PMA members.

After serving on PMA’s Membership Committee, Geoff was elected to the Board of Directors. In 2003, he became PMA president. Part of his presidential heritage he is most proud of is the launch of the Business Leaders Forum, a unique leadership development program for senior-level managers. In 2009, Geoff joined Janitorial Partners, Inc./ Park Construction Inc. and brought his firm to PMA as an Associate Member. On the PMA Board, Geoff advocates stronger membership and more vigorous recruitment efforts. Geoff loves working with kids and helps them to succeed in high-level athletic competitions. In his free time, he also enjoys running and is a big music fan. Residents of his community know him as an active church member and advocate against poverty.
