PMA Dental and Vision Insurance Programs

PMA recognizes that the cost of providing employee benefits has gone off the charts, forcing many companies to reduce or eliminate certain types of coverage in their benefit packages.

PMA is here to help by filling voids in the area of dental and vision insurance. Members can take advantage of two new offerings: dental and vision insurance at discounted group rates.

DentaQuest Dental

DentaQuest is one of the largest dental insurers in the United States and offers insurance
through more than 2,000 dentists in the metropolitan Washington area. The plan is available to both individuals and companies. There is not defined enrollment period or deadline when decisions need to be made. You can sign up at any time. The dental coverage includes cleaning, X-rays, fluoridetreatments, etc. and most other services are provided at discounts ranging from 50 to 75% of normal costs. The program even offers a 50% discount on the cost of braces.

Avesis Vision

Avesis is the third largest vision provider in the country. The company offers optional benefits and discounts that apply to vision exams, glasses, frames, ophthalmology and RK laser surgery.
PMA’s dental and vision programs are unique in that PMA members receive pricing that typically is reserved for large groups and enrollment is open to both companies and individuals. The new vision and dental discount programs are being administered by Don Brown Group Benefits.
