Details

The PMA Operations Council is sponsoring an Energy Summit on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 focusing on simple, but extraordinarily effective strategies to reduce utility consumption. Topics that will be addressed by industry experts include:

  • Pepco and BG&E rebates
  • Water conservation
  • Piping and insulation
  • Ventilation systems
  • Chillers
  • Heat pumps and split A/C systems
  • Boiler cleaning and adjustments
  • Lighting
  • Water treatment, chemicals and scaling

At the Summit, you will lean how to take advantage of available rebates from utility companies. There will be a number of hands-on demonstrations of equipment and easy-to-implement methods for saving energy and using energy-saving devices. Attendees will also learn how to conduct an in-house utility audit of their properties to identify savings opportunities.
