The seminar comes highly recommended by PMA Treasurer Bonnie Morrison (Foulger-Pratt) who has sponsored similar sessions in-house for her new managers and supervisors. The program teaches new managers and others who have recently assumed supervisor positions in property management how to obtain skills needed to achieve exceptional results. Pamela Jett Aal, a nationally recognized speaker with more than ten years of teaching and training experience, will use accelerated learning techniques to relate supervisory secrets that motivate staff members to go the extra mile. Aal will share her insights and offer practical advice on building morale, increasing productivity, handling conflicts and curbing absenteeism. She also will focus on time-management tips for supervisors and teach how to acquire a supervisor’s mindset and image.

The seminar’s goal is to develop team-building and problem-solving skills and providing guidance to effectively respond to nonperformers and difficult employees.  Those who will benefit the most from participation include:

  • First-time supervisors and managers who want to build their supervisory skills quickly
  • Supervisors with a few years of experience who never received formal training
  • Anyone soon to be promoted to a supervisory position
  • Those new to supervising others, even if it's not part of the job description

It is counterproductive to let new supervisors learn their new responsibilities through costly mistakes and compromised relationships with other team members. The knowledge and skills they will receive at the “Management Skills for Newly Appointed Property Management Supervisors” seminar will help eliminate that risk. If you or your employees need to learn supervisory basics fast, this program is a must-attend event
