The Community Service Committee is sponsoring a Career Day for patrons of So Others Might Eat (SOME) on Friday, July 17. As part of its advocacy for the homeless and poor, SOME offers three employment training tracks, two of which relate to the property management field. One is a concierge/front desk-training program and the other is a building maintenance technician-training program. PMA members will provide practical guidance and insights about these career paths. Each attendee will be offered to participate in two mock interviews in front of PMA volunteers to get some hands-on skills for a real job interview.
