The Annual PMA Maintenance Summit provides practical education that property management staff, maintenance supervisors, directors of operations, maintenance staff and community and property directors can use to improve service to residents and enhance asset value.
The Summit begins with a Keynote Address from Apartment All Star Bill Nye entitled, Customer Service: Seeing What Your Customers See. This program teaches operations and maintenance personnel to look at customer service in a completely new way. The program will dive deep into the world of social mindfulness and explore the connection it has to customer service. Attendees will learn how their outlook impacts their ability to deliver exceptional service to residents, tenants, their team members and the community. The program not only explains the role maintenance and operations staff play in delivering memorable customer service, but how to do so and achieve exceptional results.
Bill Nye has worked with numerous property management organizations and associations throughout the nation. He understands our business and the critically important role that maintenance and operations play in resident and tenant retention. He combines his education and his experience in management, leadership and the military to offer training that is effective and pertinent.
Following the keynote address attendees will have a choice in the morning of participating in a three-hour HVAC 13 SEER awareness program or to attend a series of one-hour demonstrations and workshops that enable maintenance personnel to sharpen their skills in a variety of disciplines from lock repair to removing stains from carpeting. In the afternoon, attendees can opt for a three-hour appliance repair program or attend a series of one-hour programs.
