Recognizing Excellence in LIHTS

PMA’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit Council announced the first Annual PMA Awards program to recognize outstanding properties and individuals in this specialized management discipline.

Awards will be presented to properties with fewer than 100 units, between 101 and 250 units and with more than 250 apartment units.

Individual categories include:

  • Compliance Director of the Year
  • Rookie of the Year
  • Unsung Hero
  • Maintenance Professional of the Year

The property categories include:

  • Compliance Property of the Year
  • Best Physical Inspection
  • Smoothest Lease-Up Renovation
  • Most Improved Property
  • Most Consistent Property
  • Spirit of Caring/Resident Service Award
    Success Story

The Council also is accepting nominations for a “Blooper” Category. Those entries will be confidential. There will be no mention of the property name or individual. They will be used to capitalize on the lessons that experience teaches. Nominations must be submitted by September 28, 2007. The cost to participate is $25 per entry.
