PMA Profile: Ken Klimpl

Ken Klimpl, vice president and general manager at Brook Furniture Rental, returned to the PMA Board of Directors in 2012 as Associate Membership Council vice chair. His PMA tenure includes serving on multiple committees and as the chair of the Membership Committee, leading PMA’s College of Property Management in the 1990s, advancing to top leadership roles on the Board and being honored by his peers with his election to the PMA Council of Fellows. Before returning to the Board this year, Ken served as a Board member for six years, including serving as the Association’s treasurer.

Ken worked for several management companies, but spent the lion’s share of his time at Southern Management. He also owned an apartment locator business before joining the team of Brook Furniture Rental in 2000. Ken’s knowledge of property management and his experience as an Associate Member bring a unique perspective of a person who’s been on both sides of PMA’s membership. He plans to focus on PMEXPO—PMA’s signature event that brings property managers and their suppliers together. In his free time, Ken likes to travel and spend time with his three grown children and a grandson.
