PMA Profile: Scott Jones

A. Scott Jones is president and CEO of Edgewood Management Corporation. Scott specializes in affordable housing. He has spent the last 30+ years providing quality housing to those who are less fortunate. Scott has a vast knowledge and outstanding expertise in asset management and real estate investments. Since returning to Edgewood in 2008 as president and CEO, he has been responsible for the overall management of the corporation, development and implementation of corporate and site policies and procedures, and staff development and training.

Scott also served as president of Landex Management from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Scott spent 18 years at Edgewood where he supervised multiple divisions including community services, video monitoring, compliance, administration, budgets, Section 8 contract renewals, contracts and purchasing and construction management. Scott has been actively involved in PMA and was the presenter of the 2010 PMA Annual CEO address.

In his role as 2012 PMA director, he is contributing to the strategic management of the Association and meeting the needs of its members for practical education and professional advancement. In his free time, Scott likes to read and spend time on the water boating.
