FORMAT:

Scramble/Captain’s Choice

TEEING GROUND:   

Men’s Tee:  White
Women’s Tee:  Green

GOLF GENIUS APP:

For scoring purposes, we are using an app named Golf Genius. One player from each group will need to download the app. Once the app is downloaded, enter your Golf Genius ID/password (GGID) – located on the bottom of your scorecard. Please record each score upon completion of the hole and hit SAVE. No scorecards will be accepted for scoring.

RULES:

Each player plays from the teeing ground. The best tee shot is then selected, and each player will hit his/her next shot from that spot (placing the ball in a similar lie within one club length no closer to the hole). This process continues until the ball is holed out. Groups with 3 golfers will alternate hitting the 4th shot per player, per hole. Please record the team gross scramble score per hole on your official scorecard or in the Golf Genius app.

No Triples! No score higher than a double bogey (two over par) will be counted. If your team has not holed out within bogey of the hole, stop, record a double bogey as your score and move on to the next hole.

In the event of a tie, the team with the most birdies will be the winner.

Please always keep your cart on the path. Please replace your divots!

PACE OF PLAY:

Pace of play is every player’s responsibility. For the enjoyment of all participants, please keep up with the group in front of you. The pace of play at Lansdowne is 4 hours for 18 holes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

A siren will sound in the event that the course becomes unplayable, or conditions become hazardous. Please return to the cart staging area for instructions.

WHEN YOU FINISH:

Return your cart to the staging area upon completion at the scoreboard (large flat screen). Prizes will be presented to the teams for first and second place at the 19^th Hole Reception.

Putt-O-Rama

Taking place before Shotgun start. Purchase a numbered golf ball for $5. Report to the designated putting green. All players will form a circle at the perimeter of the green. At the signal of the referee, all players will putt with the goal of landing a hole-in-one. 50% of proceeds to benefit the PMA Community Service Committee. No refunds.

Beat the Amateur

The Amateur will hit a tee shot.  If that shot is closer to the hole than anyone in the foursome, the foursome can use the Amateur’s shot. Players whose balls are on the green inside of the Amateur’s win a sleeve of golf balls.

Closest to the Pin

The golfer whose tee shot is closest to the pin on the green wins a gift certificate to the pro shop.

Longest Drive

The male and female golfer who hits the longest drive in the fairway wins a gift certificate to the pro shop.

Mulligan

Everyone in the foursome can use their mulligan on the 18th hole (on the Norman course) and on the 9th hole (on RTJ II).

Putting Contest, Putting Green

Stop by the putting green when you make the turn. The winners of putting contests will win a gift certificate to the pro shop.

Permitted:

Men: shirts with collars and sleeves. Turtleneck and mock neck shirts are included.

Women: shirts must either have a collar or sleeves. Turtleneck and mock neck shirts are included.

NOT Permitted:

Jeans, t-shirts, cut-offs, sweat pants, athletic shorts, halter-tops, bathing suits, and short shorts.

Park near the Clubhouse where registration will be located; parking is free.

Bring sunscreen, bug spray and hand sanitizer.

Don’t use your phone when a golfer is playing; texting is preferred at other times; no phone use in Clubhouse.

Your registration includes greens fees, designated golf cart, access to the practice range, on-course hole contests, breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day at various stationary food & beverage stations located on the course, access to the 19th Hole Networking Reception and attendee gift.

There are a limited number of appointments for the spa. No refund will be issued for missed appointments. Registration will close once all spots are filled.

2. Deep Cleansing Facial: Customized treatment just for your skin type. Benefit to cleanse, exfoliate, purify, hydrate and a brightening mask. Moisturize and treat to calm and smooth the skin.

As your schedule allows, come prepared to enjoy all that the spa offers, including relaxation lounges with infused water stations and herbal teas offerings, steam rooms, dry saunas and whirlpools. Please note that a swimsuit is required for use of steam rooms, dry saunas and whirlpools.
