Graduate of the Texas Tech University program "Designing Structures against Wind". Mediated insurance claims on behalf of property owners and carriers nationwide for tornado, hail, severe wind and hurricane damage. Served 13 years in the US Army Combat Corp of Engineers in various assignments worldwide to include; construction specialist, explosive specialist, Colonel's aide, Operations Sergeant, heavy equipment platoon leader, engineer platoon sergeant, US Army instructor and Drill Sergeant. Additionally, served as unit commander for an Army National Guard unit activated during Desert Shield/Storm for 8 months serving in Saudi Arabia and Iraq under the 18th Airborne Corp.
