Job Description:

Summary/Objective: 

The Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the company’s marketing initiatives, with a focus on project management, content development, and promoting brand awareness. The Marketing Manager will play a vital role in acquisitions and onboarding of new properties within the portfolio, along with managing the current marketing team.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with due diligence efforts and the transition of new acquisitions, to include presentations in order to secure the deal and supporting efforts to meet the owner’s objectives once the acquisition takes place
  • Manage and develop the Marketing team members by modeling behavior, empowering them with decision making, providing information, and creating an atmosphere for success
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support the portfolio’s financial and strategic goals through action plans related to marketing and advertising
  • Work to meet budgeted financial marketing goals by keeping expenses inline and making recommendations on how to spend marketing dollars for each community
  • Ensure the company’s image and position in the marketplace is consistent with the mission and vision statement and evident through each marketing program created
  • Use marketing and performance metrics to identify issues, potential opportunities and effectiveness of internet listing sources
  • Participate in submarket analysis by identifying relevant trends by using CRM reports, Yardi’s Business Intelligence platform, Yieldstar and other data sources. Identify performance issues, create marketing and advertising campaigns to create change and evaluate the results
  • Maintain and update all digital content, specifically company and property websites, internet listing sources and social media through written, video and digital content
  • Research and implement any applicable technology advancements
