This workshop is part of PMA's Cultivating Stress Resilience Series. The property management industry is among the most people-centric of professions, and in the last 14 months, as we have endured a pandemic, a divisive election, ongoing social unrest and economic uncertainty, emotional states are more fragile than ever. Show your team that you care by giving them the tools that they need not only to survive, but to thrive in these challenging times.
Objectives for this Workshop Include:
Creating More Happiness: Understand happiness set-points and the practical potential for increasing your happiness level. Learn specific strategies for boosting happiness, and discover how to identify which of those ways will be most effective for you as an individual.
Embracing Mindfulness: Understand what mindfulness really is (and isn’t), and learn simple and practical ways to bring more of it into your everyday life.
For the low cost of $250 PMA member companies may purchase a company pass that will allow for all of your team members to participate in the sessions. The nonmember rate for a company pass is $500.
Register a single PMA member for the entire series for $100. The nonmember rate for an individual registration for the entire series is $200

About the Facilitator:
Slava Madorsky is a certified life coach, presenter and trainer specializing in the positive psychology approach to wellbeing, specifically in the areas of stress-management, burnout, vicarious trauma, goal achievement and confidence building. Before entering this profession, Slava spent 10 years as a refugee officer with the immigration service of the US government, traveling to war zones and remote corners of the world to interview refugees seeking resettlement to the US and making decisions on their eligibility. Prior to that, she was a Holocaust educator at the Auschwitz Jewish Center in Poland and a genocide researcher in Rwanda. Seeing the effects of emotionally, intellectually and physically draining work on her own wellbeing and that of her colleagues, Slava developed a specialized program on mitigating the effects of vicarious trauma and stress in order to prevent or recover from burnout. Since then, she has worked with numerous groups and individuals to help them thrive and build their confidence and effectiveness in challenging circumstances.
Slava holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, an MA in Coexistence and Conflict from Brandeis University, a Certification in Positive Psychology from the Whole Being Institute, a Life Coaching Certification from the Life Coach Institute of Orange County, as well as a Reiki certification.
