Lobster Bake Silent Auction

Join the Property Management Association's Community Service Committee in making a meaningful difference by giving back to our local communities! We're all about rolling up our sleeves and giving back to the places we call home and work. 

Our mission? It's simple yet powerful! Our Community Service Committee aims to develop meaningful relationships with committee volunteers, member companies and non-profit organizations to maximize efforts impacting committee projects within the local community.

Right now, we're gearing up for another exciting year at the Lobster Bake! Picture this: a fun-filled evening on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the picturesque Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg, MD, with around 600 PMA members and guests in attendance. Games, dancing, food, drinks and networking with new and prospective industry partners!

The auction will kickoff at 5 p.m. Attendees can bid on an array of exclusive items and experiences in our silent auction. From fun tech to outdoor leisure to fun local experiences, the auction offers a chance to take home treasures while supporting our community initiatives.. Best of all, every dollar raised goes straight to supporting our upcoming and ongoing community projects, including:

Boosting learning environments: We're dedicated to enhancing the Stephen Knolls School in Kensington, MD, to better serve developmentally disabled students.

Boosting workforce readiness: We're dedicated to preparing students enrolled in local career and technical training classes for success in the workforce through job training initiatives.

Beautifying neighborhoods: Let's elevate the curb appeal in communities across our region and make them shine!

Spreading joy: From sponsoring holiday parties for seniors and children in underserved areas to volunteering with Comfort Cases in Rockville, MD, to build backpacks filled with essentials for children in the foster care system to supporting food banks like Manna Food Center and Arlington Food Assistance Center, we're all about spreading smiles and making a lasting impact.

And that's just the beginning! There's so much more we're excited to accomplish together.
