The Summer Escape Golf & Trivia Showdown is one of PMA’s most engaging networking experiences of the year—bringing together property management professionals and supplier partners for a day of connection, friendly competition, and summer fun.

This unique event offers two ways to participate—the Golf Outing and the Trivia Showdown—attracting a diverse group of attendees from across the multifamily industry. Summer Escape Golf Tournament

Join us for a fun-filled day on the course as teams compete in a friendly tournament complete with great shots, great company, and plenty of opportunities for networking with clients, colleagues, and friends. 

Golf Tournament Registration Options

Team Size: Foursomes—invite property managers to show your appreciation!

Foursome Registration Fee: Starting at $1,960 per foursome. Want to split the cost with another company? We’re all about partnerships—just reach out!

Golf Tournament Schedule

8 a.m. | Golfer Check-In, Breakfast & Warm-Up
Arrive early for registration, breakfast, access to the driving range and putting greens, plus opportunities to purchase mulligans, Putt-O-Rama entries, and raffle tickets.

9:30 a.m. | Putt-O-Rama Challenge
Take your shot in this fun contest supporting PMA’s Community Service Committee.

9:45 a.m. | Opening Announcements
Tournament rules, welcome remarks, and tips from Lakewood’s Golf Pro before players head to their assigned holes.

10 a.m. | Shotgun Start
Teams tee off simultaneously for 18 holes of friendly competition, on-course games, networking, and surprises along the way.

Beginning at 11 a.m. | BBQ Lunch at the Clubhouse Patio
Served on the clubhouse patio and available throughout the day until the final foursome comes through.

Approximately 4 – 6 p.m. | 19th Hole Networking Reception
Start time is dependent on pace of play. Golfers and Trivia Showdown participants come together in the clubhouse for drinks, buffet fare, prize presentations, 50/50 raffle excitement, and post-round bragging rights. Pro shop dollars will be awarded to the first, second, and third place foursomes, and sponsors may provide prizes for contests such as Beat the Amateur and Closest to the Pin. 

Summer Escape Trivia Showdown

Join us for a high-energy afternoon of trivia, teamwork, and friendly competition as teams battle through rounds covering sports, music, pop culture, and general knowledge. It’s the perfect outing for clients, colleagues, and friends—and a fun alternative to the golf course.

Trivia Showdown Schedule

12:30 p.m. | Trivia Check-In & Lunch 
Pick up badges, purchase 50/50 raffle tickets, get settled, and prepare your team strategy. Enjoy lunch in the ballroom before and during the opening rounds.

1 – 4 p.m. | Trivia Showdown
Teams compete through multiple rounds of trivia featuring sports, music, pop culture, and general knowledge, with breaks, mini games, and interactive moments throughout the afternoon.

4 – 6 p.m. | 19th Hole Networking Reception
Trivia participants and golfers come together for drinks, buffet fare, golf tournament prize presentations, 50/50 raffle excitement, and post-victory bragging rights. 

Lakewood's Dress Code:

Golfers:

Men:  Polo-style, collared golf shirts tucked in at all times.  Golf specific turtlenecks and mock turtleneck shirts are permitted.  All hats must be worn bill forward.  Golf appropriate slacks or shorts cut no more than 4” above the knee.  Cargo shorts are allowed as long as they are flat-pocketed.  Denim of any kind, t-shirts, and warm-up or workout attire are not permitted.

Women:  skirts, tailored full-length slacks or walking shorts no more than 4” above the knees are permitted.  Shirts without collars are permitted, but tank tops are not allowed.  Denim of any kind, t-shirts, and warm-up or workout attire are not permitted.

Clubhouse Attire:

Casual attire is welcomed throughout the Club, except as outlined below. 

Unacceptable Attire at Any Time:

• • Bare midriff
  • Swim attire
  • Towels around the neck
  • Clothing with offensive, provocative or political wording or images
    Pants, skirts, dresses or shorts worn below hip level (sagging or exposed undergarments are not permitted)
  • Sports caps, visors, or hats of any kind not worn brim forward

Unacceptable After 5 p.m.

  • Sweatpants and sweatshirts (unless golf-appropriate)
  • Sports caps, visors, or hats of any kind (unless worn for religious or medical reasons)

Golfers: Download the Golf Genius App to view pairings, scores and more on the day of the event. At least one person per foursome must download the app for tournament scoring.
