Associate Membership Council
Responsibilities: Actively seek feedback from Associate Members to assess their satisfaction and identify areas for improvement, ensuring their comments are heard and addressed. Additionally, create networking opportunities for associate members to connect with each other, fostering the development of lead generation growth networks.
Opportunities: Make invaluable networking contacts that can lead to increased business. Expand your sales and presentation skills. Learn how to capitalize on opportunities in the property management industry.
Meetings: The Associate Membership Council will meet virtually bi-monthly: January, March, May, July, September, November on the second Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Opportunities: Participate in an exclusive forum where property management company executives challenge, inspire and exchange perspectives in a collegial and confidential setting, ultimately aiding each other in making informed decisions and achieving outstanding results.
Meetings: Since October 2022, this distinguished forum has been convening quarterly, with the added convenience of three virtual meetings per year. The discussions within this forum are strategically oriented, focusing on the bigger picture rather than tactical issues. Forum members collaboratively determine meeting topics and agendas based on their most pressing priorities.
Human Resources Council
Responsibilities: Plans roundtable meetings and seminars on topics relevant to human resources and oversees the AOBA-PMA Wage and Benefit Survey.
Opportunities: Learn best HR practices used by property management firms in the national capital area; network with HR professionals employed in property management.
Meetings: The HR Council will hold a virtual meeting at 12 p.m. on the first Thursday for the following months: January, March, April, June, September, October, and December. The HR Council will hold an in-person meeting at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the following month: February, May, August, and November. Meetings are intended for Property Management Company Member HR and Recruiting professionals only. Event topic, format and target audience will vary from month to month.
Responsibilities: Creates networking opportunities for marketing professionals to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges and improve individual and corporate performance. Develops programs and educational offerings that provide practical marketing education. Oversees the annual Marketing and Advertising Excellence and Leasing Professional Awards programs.
Opportunities: Attend the Marketing Council's events to improve marketing skills, expand creative capabilities, and access a network of savvy, seasoned professionals that can serve as a resource for new idea generation and problem-solving.
Meetings: The Marketing Council will hold a virtual meeting on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. until further notice. Meetings are intended for Property Management Company Member Marketing professionals only. Event topic, format and target audience will vary from month to month.
