Associate Company

An Associate Member shall be a business entity, including an individual acting as a sole proprietorship, which provides products or services customarily used in the management, operation or maintenance of multifamily residential or commercial properties. PMA 2022 dues for new Associate Members are $840/firm. Note: PMA dues may be deductible as a business expense, not as a charitable contribution.

Property Management Company

A company or organization that owns and/or manages multifamily residential or commercial properties. PMA annual dues for Property Management Company Members are based upon the number of properties that the company manages in the Washington, DC metropolitan area as follows:

1 - 9 properties = $550

10+ properties = $1,100

PMA's Property Management Company membership allows management companies to provide PMA membership as an employee benefit to all eligible team members for one low rate. Eligible positions include:
CEO, COO, CFO, President, Senior VP, Director of Property Management, VP, Senior Property Manager, Regional Property Manager, Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager/Field Manager, Site/Community Manager, Leasing Manager, Leasing Associate, Director of Operations/Maintenance/Engineering, Compliance Director/Manager, HR Director/HR Manager, Resident Service Director, Collections Director and others who procure goods and services needed to manage real estate assets.

Individual Property Manager

A property manager is defined as an owner or employee of any company or organization that owns and/or manages multifamily residential or commercial properties. A property manager individual membership is any individual who currently is either employed as a property manager or is actively seeking such employment.

2022 dues for an Individual Property Manager Member are $200.
