Membership Requirements
Associate Membership has just a few basic eligibility requirements.
Your company must:
- Provide products or services that support the multifamily housing industry in Washington, D.C., Maryland or Virginia.
- Maintain an active company email domain for employees who will access PMA member benefits and resources.
2026 Membership Dues
Associate Company Membership: $1,030 annually
2027 Membership Dues
Associate Company Membership: $1,080 annually
Membership is not prorated. Renewal will take place on your membership join anniversary date annually.
Membership dues cover your company's membership, allowing eligible employees throughout your organization to participate under the same membership.
Event registrations, sponsorships, advertising and other optional opportunities are priced separately from annual membership dues.

Associate Members receive access to PMA's secure online directory of member property management companies and properties—a valuable resource for learning more about the companies and communities that make up our membership.
The directory is available exclusively to logged-in members. To protect member privacy, the directory cannot be downloaded or exported, and members may control their individual visibility.

Associate Members receive access to member registration rates and eligible participation opportunities throughout the year, including PMA's signature events:

Event registration fees are separate from annual membership dues, and eligibility or participation requirements may vary by event. Associate Members may attend PMEXPO only as registered exhibitors.

How Membership Works
Associate Membership belongs to the company—not an individual employee.
That means your company maintains one PMA membership that can support engagement across your organization.
One Company. One Membership. Your Team.
- There is no limit to the number of eligible employees who can be added to your company's membership.
- Each employee receives their own PMA account and must register using a unique company email address.
- Different members of your team can participate in opportunities relevant to their roles and interests.
- As staffing changes, employees can be added or removed without purchasing a new company membership.
Your Membership Anniversary
PMA membership operates on an anniversary cycle, rather than a calendar year.
Your membership begins when your company joins and renews annually based on that date. For example, if your membership begins in September, your renewal will occur the following September.
Renewal invoices are automatically issued 60 days before your membership expiration date.
Companies that renew on or before their expiration date receive a $100 early renewal discount.
