MEET THE FACILITATOR

Officer Jennifer Hoffmann

Jennifer Hoffmann has dedicated over three decades to serving the community as a member of the Montgomery County Police Department. With 31 years of exemplary service, she has spent a decade in Patrol and 21 years in the Motor/Central Traffic Unit, specializing in traffic management and safety enforcement.

Officer Hoffmann has also made significant contributions as a detective in the MCPD Decentralized Reconstruction Unit for 15 years, where she investigated serious and fatal traffic incidents, demonstrating her commitment to public safety and justice.

In addition to her law enforcement duties, Officer Hoffmann has served as a Field Training Officer for 10 years, guiding new officers through their initial field experiences. She is also an Adjunct Academy Instructor, sharing her vast knowledge and skills with upcoming generations of police officers.

Her expertise extends to special assignments, including numerous investigative and undercover operations with various Special Assignment teams and Undercover Units. Officer Hoffmann is trained in R.E.I.D. Interview and Interrogation Techniques, enhancing her investigative capabilities.

Outside of her police duties, Officer Hoffmann is passionate about sports and community service. She has been coaching softball since 1999, fostering sportsmanship and team spirit among young athletes. A former head coach at Clarksburg High School and a player at Seneca Valley High School and Lynchburg University, she deeply values giving back to the community that shaped her.
