PMA’s Leasing Professional Awards recognize individuals who excel at representing their communities, building trust with prospects, and converting interest into long-term residency. This program celebrates leasing professionals who consistently deliver strong performance and a high-quality prospect experience.

Each nominee receives an in-depth evaluation with detailed scoring and benchmarking that highlights strengths and identifies opportunities for growth.
Judging criteria may include greeting and first impressions, information-gathering strategies, professionalism, property and apartment tours, benefit selling, objection handling, closing strategies, and follow-up.

Industry Recognition: In 2026, the Maintenance Professional and Leasing Professional Awards will be presented during a celebratory luncheon at the PMA Leasing & Maintenance Summit on October 22, 2026 at the Hilton Washington DC Rockville Executive Meeting Center. FINAL NOMINATION DEADLINE: April 30, 2026 (Submit by April 15, 2026 to save $50 per entry before extended deadline pricing applies. Note, To ensure timely scheduling and fair evaluation, PMA is unable to offer extensions beyond the final deadline.)
EVALUATION DATES: A mystery shopping company will be evaluating each nominee May through September. Shops will not occur during the first seven days of the month or on Mondays or Federal holidays.
AWARD PRESENTATION: In 2026, the Maintenance Professional Awards and Leasing Professional Awards will be presented during a celebratory luncheon at the PMA Leasing & Maintenance Summit on October 22, 2026 at the Hilton Washington DC Rockville Executive Meeting Center. Separate registration is required for the Summit. Full details—including registration information—will be shared later this spring!
NOTE: Nomination fees are due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. In keeping with PMA's Event and Program Policies, Leasing Professional Award entries may be withdrawn or transferred but are not refundable. All requests for transfer must be made more than 30 days prior to scheduling of evaluation/consideration and/or 90 days prior to the event at which award winners will be announced.
