Paisley LarsonEach year, PMA awards its Memorial Scholarship to a child or grandchild of a PMA member—celebrating the next generation of innovators, leaders and changemakers who will shape the future of our industry. This year’s award honors the legacy of Arthur Dubin, a beloved PMA leader known for his professionalism, integrity and unwavering kindness. As President and CEO of Dubin & Associates and later a key leader at Zalco Realty, Arthur left an indelible mark on the multifamily community. His commitment to service and his joyful spirit continue to inspire us.

It is only fitting that this year’s scholarship is awarded to someone whose character, drive and promise reflect those same values.

The 2025 PMA Arthur Dubin Memorial Scholarship recipient is Paisley Larson, daughter of Peter Larson, Senior Vice President of Residential Property Management at Bernstein Management Corporation.

Paisley is a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech, pursuing a double major in Residential Real Estate and Property Management—fields she has been passionate about her entire life. Growing up with parents in the industry and spending her childhood visiting properties, volunteering at events and observing what makes communities thrive, Paisley’s career goals were shaped long before she arrived on campus.

Her academic performance is exemplary. Paisley holds a 3.93 GPA, earning top marks in real estate, design, economics, accounting and property management coursework. Her transcript reflects a student who not only excels but embraces challenges with determination and pride.

Beyond academics, Paisley is already deeply involved in the field. She serves as the Public Relations Officer for Virginia Tech’s Association of Property Management Students and works as the Marketing and Social Media Student Assistant for the Property Management degree program—roles typically reserved for upperclassmen. Both opportunities recognize her talent, professionalism and eagerness to contribute to the future of the industry.

Paisley also brings real-world experience through internships with Real Estate Service Systems and Legend Management Group, gaining hands-on knowledge of onsite operations, customer service, teamwork and corporate processes. Her professor notes that she already demonstrates an unusually deep understanding of the field for someone so early in her collegiate career.

What truly distinguishes Paisley is her sense of purpose. She sets high expectations for herself, pursues leadership roles with humility and enthusiasm and is committed to a future in real estate and property management where residents, teams and communities benefit from thoughtful, well-prepared professionals.

Paisley honorably reflects the spirit of the Arthur Dubin Memorial Scholarship—dedication, integrity, curiosity and service.
